Dynamic T1 Service
Telecom carriers have recently introduced a new feature rich voice and data T1 offering. Dynamically allocated T1’s allow business to make the most out of their full T1 purchase. These circuits allow users to access both voice and Internet services over the same connection more efficiently then an Integrated T1. A Dynamic T1 allows for an always on Internet connection as well as a set number of voice lines. The advantage is that if a business needs more voice capacity at a given time the dynamic T1 will allocate additional voice lines from the Internet bandwidth on the T1. Once a call is terminated then the bandwidth designated for the additional voice line will be re-allocated to Internet bandwidth.
